We are Krista and Briana Gaughan, sisters and founders of Gavita Flora. We developed our company as a means of expressing our passion for art, floral design, interior design, and event planning.
 
With backgrounds in art, floral design, and psychology, we find importance in developing a deep understanding of our clients needs and personal tastes in order to bring their vision to life and create an event that is truly spectacular.
 
We work closely as a team to ensure that every detail of the floral and event decor is covered, and it is this attention to detail that allows our clients to relax and enjoy this aspect of their wedding planning experience.

Krista’s lifelong passion for art, interior design, and nature’s beauty have led her to a career in floral design. She takes an interior design approach in creating floral decor that enhances the beauty of the space, while remaining cohesive with other important decor elements to create a complete, stylized look.

Briana was introduced to the world of weddings and events during a summer home from college when she helped her sister put together arrangements for a friend’s wedding. It wasn’t long before she discovered her natural ability to conceptualize the overall look of an event, and to turn that vision into a reality. Briana’s passion for interior design and entertaining, along with her desire to gain a deep understanding of her clients’ personalities, needs and lifestyle, prove to be the perfect combination for creating events that are truly special.
